Calendar Oct 3, 2026 at 9 am

Instructor: Bill Barrick

Skill Level: Any Level

Ages: 14+

Total Class Hours: 4

Description: It all started during the Renaissance when the techniques of perspective drawing were first developed. If you like to sketch, draw, or paint architecture, this workshop is for you! Vanishing Points, horizon line, eye level, convergence, point of view - it’s all explained and demonstrated to equip even the novice with skills to create dramatic perspective views of simple to complex architecture.

We’ll do two projects: a one-point perspective of an interior and a two-point perspective of architecture. For those experienced in perspective, bring a project you would like to work on and take your skills to the advanced level.

Supplies: Please bring a sketchbook, a variety of Pencils (soft and hard), a black fine-line marker, an eraser, and an 18” Ruler.
