Description: Learn the basics of handcrafting metal jewelry through wirework, piercing metal sheet, soldering, bezel setting, and more. Explore this medium by making light, large earrings, plus a piece of your choice that incorporates a gemstone or found object. 

Kate is a Greenville, SC based jewelry artist known for transforming nature-inspired sketches into handcrafted fine jewelry. With her BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the University of Georgia and her MFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the Rhode Island School of Design, she blends traditional techniques with a modern, organic aesthetic.
